A corporate attorney by trade, Charles has 15 years of experience working with executives and senior leaders in private equity, venture capital, corporate/M&A, business start-up, and the Cannabis industry. Charles began his career at a top 100 law firm and later became an in-house attorney where he negotiated and closed over 75 private equity deals totaling over $10 billion. Charles then transitioned to private practice in Los Angeles, where he’s worked on a number of high-profile transactions in the legal Cannabis space, including real estate, consumer packaged goods, and cultivation verticals. Today, Charles utilizes his corporate and business expertise to provide practical, accessible strategic guidance and support to Cannabis founders, entrepreneurs, brands, and operators.
JORDAN THACKER

Jordan has spent the last 6 years directing operations and leading business development efforts for some of the largest Cannabis companies in the industry, in addition to launching his own brand in the Californian market. Experience with both vertically integrated companies and white-label brands. Jordan has a track record of spearheading budget creation, resource allocation, procurement, quality standards and compliance policies to ensure a seamless seed-to-sale business model for Cannabis entries across the nation. Has successfully penetrated domestic and international markets with first-class Cannabis products.

Land Use & Development Team
Our Land Use & Development team has over 10 years of experience in local government, land use, real estate and Cannabis law. Our team has advised Cannabis dispensaries, cultivators, brand partners, and investors on the complexities of operating licensed Cannabis enterprises within applicable “Green Zones.” We bring this unique experience to our clients to help them avoid a variety of land use infractions while navigating a patchwork of land use regulations. Our Land Use & Development team members regularly speak on Cannabis land use and public policy and are committed to Cannabis criminal justice reforms and social equity policies related to property management and acquisition.
